The father of the Bennet family, a gentleman of "modest" income with five unmarried daughters. (Keep in mind that while the Bennet's are not incredibly well off, they are still upper-class, have an estate/farm that they earn an income from as landlords, servants, money to buy clothes and bonnets and parasols and have multi-course dinners and parties). Mr. Bennet has a sarcastic, cynical sense of humor that he uses to purposefully irritate his wife. Though he loves his daughters (Elizabeth in particular), he is a very hands-off parent, preferring to withdraw from the endless drama and excitement his wife causes and sit in his library.
Olivia French
The heroine of Pride and Prejudice and second oldest sister of the Bennet family of Longbourne. Fond of walking, quick-witted and known for her fine eyes.
